Bridgemont's
graduation requirements go beyond the basic standards required
to grant a diploma in California. Courses are registered with
the University of California and California State University systems
and and match their entrance requirements. The curriculum emphasizes
problem solving and critical thinking skills. Bridgemont is accredited
by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and CITA
(Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation)
The
student body come from many sources, with academic skills at a
variety of levels. Students who are not necessarily on a college
prep track when they initially enter our school are provided academic
help, teacher support, and advocate counseling to ensure academic
success. This opens up college opportunities to students who would
not otherwise gain college entrance.
